Pokerstars Freerolls
Pokerstars is one of the industry leaders of the online poker world, and is a very well known name across the web. The popularity of the site alone should make it a good place to play in freerolls, simply beacuase of the sheer number of players online.
Regular Pokerstars Freerolls include:
- Texas Holdem Tournaments
- Omaha Tournaments
- Seven Card Stuf Tournaments
- World Series Of Poker Qualifying Freerolls
As well as traditional freerolls, Pokerstars also offers FPP, or Frequent Player Points Tournaments. As the name suggests, these are points that you get from playing at Pokerstars. Points can be cashed in for seats at qualifiers to any number of big tournaments, including the following:
- World Series of Poker
- World Cup of Online Poker
- World Poker Tour (WPT)
- European Poker Tour (EPT)
- PokerStars World Cup of Poker.
FPPs can also be cashed in for other merchandise in Pokerstars’ FPP store.
Freeroll Tournament Gameplay
Due to the large amount of players online at Pokerstars, there are plenty of freerolls to be found that are more easy to win then perhaps on other competing sites. There are plenty of new, inexperienced and just downright poor players to be found, so Pokerstars can be a goldmine for the more savvy Freeroller.
However watch out, paid games can field a fair amount of serious players, even at the $1/2 level, so be warned!
Overall Experience
The pokerstars software is very advanced, and allows for a number of different themes for you to customize the look and feel of your game window. You can also upload a picture as an avatar for yourself.
A very useful feature is the replay button, which as the name suggests allows you to replay the last hand. Great for figuring out what went wrong, or just plain gloating!
Customer support is also very good for an email only system, with emails answered quickly and clearly.
Overall 9/10.
We recommend Pokerstars for their Freerolls, and the great tools and customization they offer.
